My female normal corn and my male blizzard corn have been mating off and on since last night. They were both brumated but the female hasn't seemed receptive until the third attempt (last night). The female was only brumated for a month (newly purchased) and I had some trouble getting her to eat afterward (she wanted live). She is eating well now on fresh killed mice.
I was just wondering if you think she has ovulated by now? I read that females aren't that receptive to males until after they ovulate. So maybe she just recently ovulated (though I know its a bit late in the season)?
Anyway, how long after ovulation will a female actually be fertile? Also, how long should I leave them together? So far as I have observed they have mated twice (probably more last night).

Thanks for any info.
This is so exciting! (my first breeding experience)
