I just got a juvenile red tegu. Is it ok to feed him raw chicken or turkey ground up? He doesnt seem to like the cooked variety but was real interested in the raw stuff.

Cooked food has a different nutritional value so I would go raw (except with eggs). Also try and make the staple whole prey items....they need the bones and entire body to be healthy. I give mine everything (shoprite meats and whole prey) but whole prey makes up the larger part of the diet.
Oh, and do not forget the fruit!
