Tricks to catch missing snake??

ballpython13 Sep 25, 2007 02:04 PM

Ok about a week ago I posted a cool looking calico looking eastern milksnake well last night it got loose and it had to heaving other snake cages on top of it. But I still have not found him and freaking out I little bit. I was thinking of a trick by tieing a cottin string like sowing string around a nail and stick the nail into the floor and tie a pinkie on the end of it in a box?? and if you know any tricks please let me know. Thanks Scott

Not to be critical here, but you might invest in escape proof enclosures as I remember another post a month or two ago about escaped milks. I guess I'd try the tricks mentioned to you at that time. Good luck and let us know how your "snake trap" makes out.

Its a pain to work with, but you can put it down face up and it will CATCH any snake coming across it. It can be tricky removing the snake from it,but better than the alternative. The crinkling may make a sound, but make sure you check it several times a day. J
