veiled might be eggbound constipated or something please help

snakeman5124 Aug 21, 2003 09:21 PM

well my 4-5" snout to vent veiled i noticed today is getting a strange lump in front of its left hind leg. I was wondering if it is possible for them to make eggs or even become eggbound without mating. could it possibly be constipated and that is just some a "traffic jam"? I am not sure but i don't think it is possibly for it to be pregnant, i got it a month and about 20 days ago and that was the last time it even saw a male. also back then it was only 2" long nose to vent. basically i want to know a. could she be egg bound or pregnant B. could this be constipation and C. how do i help her with either of these? thanks in advance

JK

Do you see a spur on the hind feets ankle of the chameleon?

That could be it. Too much vitamin A is usually the problem. IT's fluid accumulation, often in the throat, or the arms/legs.
