Basic Questions

1. If you have time can u answer some of these questions. Does he need sunlight because i was told that if hes by a window in a aquarium he could get stressed cause he couldnt get to outside sometimes.

2. I saw a little mist machine are those ok to be in a cham tank?

3.What should be the Humidity level?

4. Sorry for all the questions :P

Thanks for all the help, i will leave my angry cham alone hehe, shoulda named him Grumpy, I love this Cham hes awesome, i will post pics soon.

** It is recommended that you put your cham in natural sunlight as often as possible. Indoors, you need two things.. a light for basking, and a light for UVA/UVB. (Doesn't have to be 2 lights, you just have to provide both)
Aquariums are not recommended. A screened enclosue IS recommended (for more than a few reasons). Having the enclosure near a window will only stress a chameleon out if 1) there is movement outside the window 2) The light coming through the window warms the area too much and doesn't allow the chameleon to move around to cooler areas.

2. I saw a little mist machine are those ok to be in a cham tank?

** Again, it is a horrible idea to put in a "tank" but a great idea to put in a screened enclosure.

3.What should be the Humidity level?

** My humidity levels go anywhere from 40% to 60%

** The best way to learn is to ask questions. Take your answers, and do a little research on your own. This will give you a great start rethinking your setup
