A friend of mine said that a friend of his found a small python.So being as I know about snakes he told me to take a look. Well it turns out that they were drunk and found an eastern milk snake, and do not knoww how to take care of it. Much less what it is. I am beside myself as to what to do, I told them they should take it back, but they don't know me from dirt. They had it for about a week, and I knew it would be hungary so I sent over a frozen preemie pinkey that i had saved in the freezer. The woman said she couldn't feed it to it as she was an animal lover. I told her that if she was such an animal lover, she would have admired it instead of catching it. How should I handle this?

If the woman claims to be an animal lover, point out to her that if she cant feed it, its going to die. I know a lot of people who are like, "I cant feed another animal to this snake!" But for some reason, never think of that half of the equation, that the snake will starve to death. If you suggest that she doesnt know how to keep the snake, and isnt willing to feed it, would it be posssible she'd either let it go, or give it to you, since they know you are knowledgeable about snakes? I dont know much about how to deal with idiots, I dont have the patience LOL

I know about the idiot thing. she claims it is her boyfriends. She said if things don't go right and she thinks it is in harm that it will be comming over here. I am afraid it will be too late by then. they put a heat rock in its cage....I told them that was the biggest mistake they made...
