I was just curious if you all could post pics of your black milks? Also do the black milks musk? I have read that they have a very calm disposition? any truth to that? Any other info you all want to share is greatly appreciated Thanks

every king, or milk I have ever encountered has musked. I don't know if that has happened to anyone else, that is my own experiences with them....

I rarely get musked by black milk hatchlings and when I do, it is usually only when I am sexing them. In general, they are very calm snakes and are typically extremely calm as adults. They don't need any supplemental heat source and thrive at room temps.

Cool. Thanks for all the pics! What size rats do black milks eat adults? I am very interested in getting a pair. Do they retain any of their pattern when they are adults? Thanks for all the help

Black milks are the perfect pet snake. Big enough but not too big. Easy to feed and gentle. Mine eat small to medium FT rats as adults. Most retain no pattern as adults with the exception beng small grey patch on a few scales under the chin. Mine are all just under 6 feet.
