ID a snake

Over the past three days we've had two snakes in our house in Southern NM. One I pushed outside with a broom; the other got caught in a mouse gluetrap. I took a partial photo, and ask if someone can confirm that this is a Gopher Snake. I don't know how to upload a photo to the post, but will email or upload if I figure out how. Thanks!
