Excuse me if this sounds ignorant. But after looking at hundreds of pictures it seems like all the yellow and red babies all turn green in adulthood. What are you paying for the color changes as the snake matures? I have seen some nice blue adults but most of the progression pictures all have a light green or dark green snakes in the end. Is this why the adult are so much cheaper?

Not all babies turn just green. Red babies, especially from high blue lines have the potential to be blue themselves. You're paying for the potential and the bloodlines. Most of the designer lines never just turn green. Adults are not necessarily cheaper than babies.

True. Sometimes adults can be 10X the value, or more, of juveniles.

All of these have completed their color change. There are many things that play a roll in pricing.

Just a few examples of not so normal "green" tree pythons.
