Isis snow x ? lav, lav hatchlings???

KrazyKritters1 Sep 26, 2007 08:55 AM

I bred a Isis male snow with a unknown origin (bought at New Orleans show 2 years ago) orange phase (?) lavender. I should have hatched normal looking double hets, right? Well this is what I got. They're fresh out of egg last night. Mother of this clutch pictured in next thread.

Thanks,
B

A snow is a visual double homozygot of lavender albino X axanthic. Your lavender is probably not het for axanthic/anery so you got all lavenders. But they are all het for snow.

If you breed a female from this clucth back to the snow father you will get 50% snows and 50% lavs.

They're beautiful. I'd love to see a close up of them if possible. I just love lavenders.
