New Boa, no shed

domingoakasunday Sep 26, 2007 09:16 AM

I went to the prince william, va reptile show about a month ago and picked up a 3 month old Redtail. She has been eating once a week, 10% of her body weight per meal. She has defecated once, but she not shed. When I had baby ball pythons that age, they shed all the time as they grew. She is right at around 110g. Do boas not shed as often as the balls? Or is my memory just clouded?

Feed a slightly larger prey size(head stretcher) and that will induce a shed
