After Shed Pics

PHLdyPayne Sep 26, 2007 11:31 AM

Decided to take new pictures of my two captive hatched ball pythons I picked up in May. Both are eating great on live mice...though one has taken live rat ok. Once both are eating live rats (not yet fully weaned) will try fresh killed and hopefully on frozen thawed.

Anyway, one just shed and she's really lightened up color wise, almost think she looks like a pastel. I am quite positive she isn't a pastel, but definitely will make a great mate with my pastel male in a few years.

The obligatory belly shot:

Better shot of her head.

And baby number 2, who wasn't as cooperative as the first so the pictures are not as great. Not as light as the other but I love her pattern.

A blurry picture which shows more exact coloration and a better look of the pattern.
