Kingsnake dealers....

phiber_optikx Sep 26, 2007 11:34 AM

Who is a good vendor for kingsnakes? It seems that I can't find anyone who has different kinds of kings. Everyone seems to work with only one or two kinds.....

what are you looking for? Depends on what kind of kings you want to get. I would not buy from a dealer/broker which has a large selection. There are people here who specialize in mountain kings, eastewrn kings, florida kings, speckled kings, california kings ect. It want the best, buy from someone that specilizes in a few types rather than all.

There a few people here that specialize in kings:

Crimsonking (assorted kings and milks)
NokturnalTom (assorted kings and milks)
Myself (florida kings)
Will still (eastern kings)
Kerby (cal kings)
Sahnnon Brown & colubridman (Milksnakes)

and there are many more I am leaving out. Spend some time reading the posts and you will see that almost everyone here has a specialty or has a few different types of kings that are avaliable for sale right now. Use the "contact" function to email them located on the upper right corner of each persons post.

yeah, everyone here have some very nice kings and milks. i myself like to avoid pet stores and exporters/wholesaler. good luck on finding a king or two.

The problem is that I can't really use a "specialist." I need someone who has access to several different kinds. Basically we need the basics. Easterns, california, florida, dessert, etc. Also, milksnakes would be a plus! I represent a pet store (one of the few that actually CARE for the animals) and need someone who can supply for us on demand. As a bonus, here are a few things I grabbed from the last show.....

And here are some of my animals

nice animals! you can still buy snakes from each person(s). example buy a brooks kings from bluerosy and tom stevens then buy a cal. king from kerby and get a milk from shannon.

phiber_optikx Sep 27, 2007 10:38 AM

Yes, but then I pay $200 s/h for 4 animals......

eh, true.

Bluerosy Sep 27, 2007 12:24 AM

what you are going to end up with are animals that have passed down a couple times to a broker who bought them at bulk price from breeders. Now that broker may breed a few snakes himself but most of them ones you would be getting are ones he bought from different sources. I wish pet shops would deal directly with breeders to assure proper health and history of an animal.

Now I have some hybrids that have 4 or 5 different snakes in them at once. They all look different so maybe that way you could kill several birds with one stone. LOL!

Wow, what are the first and second ones? We actually do deal with the breeders. We deal with Don at south mountain on a regular basis. I would honestly prefer to deal with a king and milk breeder. Anyone interested can e-mail me.
