hey anyone know what the ideal size cage is for a pair of full grown adult suriname boas? i was planning on building 2 8'4'4 cages for both of them but it might be more convinient to build a "massive cage"

6' x 30" floor base, and 18" tall is good for most big Suriname females. Occasionally you'll need a cage 8' long, the other dimensions can remain.

Animal Plastics makes such a cage. Other companies that offer these large cages join two together.

I agree - it's best to have two 6' cages than one gigantic cage... even if you breed them, you'll want to separate them for feeding. Square footage of floor space is more important than height (minimum is around 1 sq of floor space for each foot of snake).
