snakes and flea spray/pesticide

greg woodie Sep 27, 2007 12:28 PM

i was wondering if someone could offer some help/advice. i have 2 cats and 30 snakes. recently, there has been a bad flea infestation in my house. what would be the best course of action for me to take so the snakes aren't harmed? i'm almost sure flea spray could be detrimental to snakes. should i take the snakes to another location and have the house sprayed or can they just be covered up while this is done? i appreciate any input. thanks!!

Greg

Ask your vet about Revolution. It's a monthly topical medication (I'm sure there are other brands as well). Manually clean the environment the best you can, vaccuum daily, dust regularly ect. In time the environment will be cleared as the cats are kept clean by the medication. In the future, if possible, don't let the cat's in the herp room. It makes things so much easier
