It looks more like 7 feet to me, but it's hard to estimate from a picture. 
Looks like 7 possibly 8 feet to me. It is amazing how stupid people are. It makes you wonder how much other bad information we are getting from the news sources. Of course the answer is......lots of it.

Jeez, talk about silly fear mongering:

it was only claimed to be 11 foot instead of 20 3 foot give or take isnt that bad. and there was no talk of the venom lol wich we all know boas have lol
