hi guys, can you help me identify the origin of these animals?

I am looking to buy these guys and they are said to be from Madu Island.

After a closer look and further digging from books and internet,

I managed to guess that the above is NOT a Jampea

but the other one (the above pix) is.

Now, can you help me please?

Thanks in advance.

Regards

I purchased two similar animals from Ben Siegel who said they were from Bushmaster. Mine look similar to yours, but don't look like any Madus I could find photos of online, and they aren't Jampeas, either.

Unfortunately I have been treating mine for ticks, internal parasites and the female has skin rot so I don't know how these two will do.

I'm sorry to say but given that these snakes are wild caught imports there is no way of telling exactly where the snakes came from. The one looks very similar to Jampea locality.

Importers will lie to make an extra buck. If you buy these snakes I would suggest soaking them for at least 6 hours as most imports have dehydration, treat them for internal and external parasites, and either have them looked at by a reptile vet or take a fecal sample into your reptile vet to have it tested.

Good luck
