Is anyone else "juggling" Boas today?

boaphile Sep 28, 2007 10:38 AM

I'm juggling Boas today not Jungling Boas. I have to move around something over 100 Boas today. Babies moving into sweater boxes from shoe boxes. up and coming sweater boxed babies moving into blanket or larger boxes for further development. Blanket boxed, primarily males, moving into the big snake room in new "Pedestal Racks" I built to make my work easier for breeding season. And other males moving from "storage" racks to pedestal racks as well. Back and forth. Up and down. All around the place moving kids all the while. This will be a full day!

This is one of the kids I have to move:

A Jungle male produced by Bigg Mike in 2006 just for me! He is around 3' and growing. Moving today from a Sweater Box to a 3' long tub for bigger meals and priming for his big introduction to a girl in about 1 1/2 months. Wish me luck with this little fella...

That is one mean looking boa, looks like he has on eye shadow.
Im trying to talk my wife into moving up that way.. I like minnesota, but i think she is not ready for the big switch from florida.
Been down here for about 10 years and sorta miss the change of seasons, snow, broken windshields from chipping ice, frostbite, being snowed in for days...um..maybe i dont miss it that much.
I would like to come up this winter and see some snow, its been a while.

Good luck with this guy, hope he makes you plenty of fat baby boas.

Just started preping the new boxs and cleaning some old ones. I'll be moving them around in the next couple of days. You've got me wondering. How about a picture of one of these pedistal boxs?
