Has anyone had this happen to them whil feeding? I have a large albino speckled king that I think is blind cause he can't catch a mouse to save his life. So I feed him P/K. well tonight I fed him some small live mice, and instead of grabbing them with his mouth, and coiling them up. He felt them by his tail and wrapped them up with it while looking arround like it was nothing. I have never in my life seen anything like it.killing them with his tail end I mean.

Gosh you have 5 kids? I think you have more to worry about than a snake eating with its tail.

I've had it happen with some of my hatchlings when feeding live pinks. Usually they're already eating one, and feel and wrap up the second. Here's some OLD pics of them.

As well as my daughters Sinaloan Milk! Crazy to watch. My frind's Corn will do the same. He likes to joke around and pretend like he's a wrestling announcer putting his snake in a "handicap match". I know, --- too much time on our hands.

I have several kings and bulls that can and will do that 2 and 3 at a time. Bet it comes in handy when going down that rodent burrow and seizing one in its' mouth and pinning coiling the others before they escape!
