Is there any place in the NY/NJ area that sells flexwatt heat tape locally?

Thanks,

I would buy on the Kingsnake classifieds under heating/caging category because people are always selling flex heat tape. I havent seen too many vendors selling flex heat tape in a while(rumors that some vendors don not want to be liable/respomnsible if their is a fire risk/hazard) . I used to see heat tape at the Whiteplains NY show and also at the hamburg PA show. The Long Island Farmingdale herp show at farmingdale college (the Long island herp soc show/ www.lihs.org) is coming on next Sat(oct 6) and you may find some one selling it at that show. Dave

WOW.. A rare appearance by the elusive Dave F. on the kingsnake forums!!

I agree with Dave, you can order FlexWatt online or pick it up at any of the local shows that i listed below. There is a couple of vendors at each of these shows that will have it available..

Long Island Herp Society Show, Farmingdale, NY 10/6
Hudson Valley Herp Show, Poughkeepsie, NY 10/27
White Plains Herp Show, White Plains, NY 11/25

Dave, I hope all is well with you.. and, I hope to see you at one of the upcoming shows..

Teach'em early Mike. I have a question. What is the grayband in the top tub in your rack there? Looks like either a wide-banded alterna or an anery blairs. They all look great as usual.

Thanks

I think the animal in the top bin that you are asking about is this female.. She is a Red Bluff Alterna.. I have 5 red bluff's that look very similar to this one..

This is an old pic, she is now about twice htis size and taking full sized thawed mice..

good lord,
that is one hell of an alterna. I have alot of respect for guys that manage more difficult species that I know that I should not even touch... just look at and admire.
very nice work.
