I'm just starting to do my research on the leo's breeding issues, so this may just be semi normal even tho it's after season, but...
every night my male digs and digs and digs at the front of the 20 gal. 2" of sand, 78 ambiant day, 76 at night, lamp heats half the tank durring the day, including a couple rocks for evening/night warmth (heat pad is in mail right now, tho). water bowl they both drink from. two hides, one with 3 areas to hide in. Stuff to climb on too...
Why might he be doing this? As far as I know, with most critters this means that there's something wrong. Any suggestions? These two have apparently bred before... My husband always has wanted a pair, and we've other breeding lizards (colared lizards, veiled chameleons, a pair of Frilled dragons that might breed next season, the 2nd for sure), so I gave in.
I havn't found too much info on what I can do so far to help him, but it doesn't seem he's happy. She's fine, no issue, but him...
Thanks in advance!
