everyone says that RES get to be 8-10" but no one has any photos of them that large. i wanna see who has the largest slider, i personaly can not wait until my little bob gets to be that large.

Don't know. She was a rescue from a nearby wildlife station. they had her for a long time and where getting overcroweded with turtle drop offs so I got her a few 10 inchers for the pond I put in last year. I still have a bigger turtle yet. She is a 14 inch river cooter.

Go to www.matts-turtles.org and look under adoptions to see an 8" female that's about four years old. That's a quarter next to her. She also had 21 vertebral and pleural scutes rather than the normal 13. I have one for adoption right now that's about 10". I'll get out the tape measure and get a picture tomorrow.
