using a divider

fantasyxbabygurl Sep 30, 2007 03:11 PM

im building an enclosure for two corn snakes and im going to have to have a divider in the middle. im not sure what to use as the divider...plexiglass warps and glass is prety expensive but i would like them to see eachother.

the front is gonna be sliding glass doors and the two sides and back are going to be the rough "great stuff" look. is there any ideas on how to secure the divider? could i just secure it with the "great stuff" as i make the walls?

thanks for any advise, everythings been a big help im about to begin building soon.

I would make the divider removeable and include a shallow groove in the back faux-rock wall. Depending on the size of the cage I would probably just use regular plate glass as the divider should be protected from accidents, unlike the door to the cage.

If you use plastic glass track for the doors you can also put some of that on the floor and ceiling to hold a removable divider.
