My female fire's six eggs just hatched out. She was bred with a fire and a pinstripe. I got two normals (not pictured) and these four. I know they look like super pastels. Any Ideas?

Find the guy that put a Pastel in with your Fire female!!
Have you ever bred that female before? Did you raise her yourself or buy her as an adult? I ask because it is not that rare that Ball Pythons store sperm from the previous breeding season.
Good luck with your investigation... and congrats on BABIES!

there is a fire there and at least 2 pastels..
looked again. look slike 1 fire, 2 pastel fires? and 1 pastel?
fire pastels are very nice. could have been worse
Wow, that's a bazzare deal there??? We produced Fire Pins this year, so I know they don't produce Pastels. Now that's a mystery clutch for sure. Brian (BHB)
This is highly unlikely, but could happen.
The first Pastel had to be from non-pastels, right. So, what if this was just a random mutation? If the female had zero chance of having Pastel sperm in her, that's the only thing I would be able to come up with.

But I'll be glad to take that ugly Pastel on the left off your hands, just so you don't have to waste your time and money feeding it.

I have raised this thing up from a baby. The only pastel I own is a bumble bee male. (Didn't put them together) Am I looking at a super pastel? If so how could that come from a fire? Can a bee throw a super? thanks all.....Frank
Well there is only one other question to ask? Can we see pics of the parents. Either way those are some awesome animals.

Hey Frank,
I think you may have a Pastel Fire, a Pastel, and a Fire there. I can tell if the fourth is anything other than a normal.
Are you coming to the VA show??? Don't forget my snake!

Here are the animals involved. Also is a single shot of mom, could she be a pastel fire??......Frank
Looks like and old washed out pastel...
Maybe?
weird....
Definitely not a FIRE pastel-looks like a normal Fire to me. Really weird.

Mom looks more like a ghost to me but she could be a pastel ghost, which would produce pastels het for ghost. I don't think she is a fire. All the fires I have seen had a spot on their head and not a completely faded head. Sometimes baby pastels right out of the egg look like supers because their head is quite faded. I don't mean to upset or insult anyone, just my opinion.
By the way, there isn't any way you could have mislabeled a clutch is there? Did you have more then one clutch cooking?
Ballzy, I can assure you that mature Fires DO have a completely faded head, and the 'spot' as you refer to it, is only one of the indications that a hatchling is/is not a Fire. The original Fireballs and all their offspring had what we referred to as a 'mickey mouse' mark on their heads which grew as they got older and faded the entire head.
I am not going to give an opinion as to what I think the mother is, but it is not the 'expected' outcome of a true Fire mating.

Got her in 05 from Mike Wilbanks. Frank
There you go then Frank. One of our original Fireball bloodline. Can't have better credentials than that!
Eric Page-Davies
Take it from me Ballsy, that is definitely a Fire!
Eric Page-Davies
Well, I'm definitely no expert especially by just looking at pics on the internet. Do the offspring have the head spots? The pictures are too dark for me to tell. One of them does look like a super pastel but how did that come out of a fire x fire or fire x pinstripe? By the way, what are the odds for getting a b.e.l. from a fire x fire?
Statistically, one out of four babies from FIRE X FIRE should be a black-eyed leucy.

I agree with that Brad. Generally, we would expect to see at least one blackeyed Leucie in every Fire X Fire clutch.
Frank's female is 100% Fire, the hatchlings??? There is a chance that there IS another 'step' between Fire and blackeyed Leucie, and by using the Pin Frank has brought it out. If Frank can do the same mating again and get the same results, then - as the saying goes " there is more to this than meets the eye".
