Why do they escape at all the wrong...

othahorror Oct 01, 2007 01:38 PM

Why do they allways have to escape at the wrong times?

Of course my E. Milk got out when my soon to be mother in law was visiting cause we just had the "new baby". Great feeling that was. She wouldnt have even known about it but being the soon to be mother in law they usually are she kinda popped her head into the conversation right when I whispered "do you think we should tell your mother" ( who has been staying over for a few days to help catch up with things). Hes safe and sound now but of course who do you think found him hanging around in the living room? Yup my soon to be mother in law.

Turns out my 14 month old daughter figgured out how to open his cage and let him out. Well thank god he is back home safe and sound huh?

Just thought I would share, Im pretty bored.

why did you say that it was the wrong time?

You should reward that snake with an extra mouse.

I wish I could have fed her to the snake.

Hey Paul,

I heard a comedian today say he took a pleasure trip the day before...he took his mother in law to the airport.

I think that's a good hint for you to figure out a better secure way to house it........ and maybe up on a higher shelf.

Maybe the next time, you might not be as lucky and it might be gone forever. That's happened to all of us before though, at one time or another!LOL

best regards, ~Doug

Sure is, but honestly it has a latch on the cage and it is still pretty high. Shes just a smart and determined kid. Pretty advanced for her age I knew I had to do something soon. I made a comment to my fiancée that morning about doing something else with the cage.

A long time ago I lost two baby corns (ghost & amel) and both were found by my cat, I learned a very harsh lesson when I was 15. Not only did the cat cause them to get loose she also took there life. But it wasn't her fault she is only doing what a cat does best.. All my snakes now are in a room of there own no cats allowed!!!
