Hi we got a water dragon about a month ago. The first week that we had him he hurt his front foot and it really swelled up. We took him to the vet and he said a bone in his foot was more likely than not broken and it should heal on its own. I then took him to another vet because i was uncomfortable with this diagnosis. The other vet confirmed this and did a fecal sample he said he is loaded with round worms and parasites. He sent us home with some antibiotics and a wormer. It is a real experience to inject the syringes into his mouth for sure! ha ha
My question is it seems like after he gets his meds he is really pissed! He runs around his cage for hours and has learned to walk upside down on his wire cage top. He also made alot of fun out of splashing his cage until it looked like a swamp. Little Brat!!! Someone at my work suggested that maybe the medication makes him hyper? Anyone had any of these experiences? I think he is trying to get revenge against me! haha
