most morphs from one breeding?

killr_silhouette Oct 01, 2007 07:18 PM

what combination of boas will get the most morphs?

which will get the most dramatic morphs?

i'm seriously considering breeding some boas in the near future...but i want to get a nice variety that i won't have too much trouble selling off...

i will most likely hold back at least one baby, preferably a nice morph...

i was thinking about just getting a pair of 100% het albinos...but there are so many other options that seem a better choice...

preferably i'd like to get hypos, aneries, albinos, ghosts, snows, and other morphs like that...

whats my best, most affordable, choice?

throw in your opinions & inputs, i'v love to know what you guys think, what your favorites are, and what you think is best...

if I were you I would maybe try 2 unrelated dbl het for albino and anery.
Yhat way you would get a nice variety of anery and albino a bunch more dbl hets and 1/16 chance to get snows.

Two unrelated snakes that are dbl het for albino and anery is a good choice.

Possibly a better choice is a hypo that is also dbl het for albino and anery mated to an unrelated dbl het for albino and anery. This would give a small chance (1/32) for moonglow. Ghosts and sunglows could show up, too, as well as snow, albino, and anerythristic. Most of the babies would look normal, though.

Good luck.

Actually, half the babies from that pairing would be hypos. Personally, I think it would be your best bet to get a little bit of everything, a good place to start.
