I have a few posts on this topic but I figured I'd start here.
Here are some of the critters I picked up for one hell of a bargin. This first one I got for 10 bucks. The kid obviously didn't know what he had.

and another view...

I gave my daughter 5 bucks and she came back with this thing. I thought 'oh crap, another critter to take care of.' If she doesn't take care of it... down the disposal it goes.

Could you imagine what it would look like if it was a cherryhead?

because the number of these that are popping up in both hatchling and adult form, I would suspect the market for these are going to drop rapidly. (from the present price of $20,000.00 at least)

The albino was listed for $20,000.00 and the two headed tortoise was taking bids.

The person that hatched out this tortoise baby does not have internet access and I am certain that she would be offended by the statement that her baby was purchased allegedly purchased from some kid that didn't know what he had for $10.00.

At one month of age both heads eat well, defecation is normal and has grown considerably well since hatching. The owner has been involved with turtles/tortoises for many years and in her retirement years is very happy to have this baby hatch in her home.
