Please remember "jobi"..........

HappyHillbilly Oct 03, 2007 08:38 AM

Hey,
Jobi (Steeve) has been on my mind for the last few days and I'd like to ask everyone to please remember him & his family in your prayers, thoughts, meditations, or whatever.

As some of you may already know I beleive he is in his second battle with cancer (someone please correct me if I'm wrong). He has a wife and young children. I'm sure they could use all the thoughts, prayers, meditation, etc... that we could give.

I don't know him personally, just from dicussions here on the forum. He has been quite an asset here and I think this is the least we can do as a token of our appreciation & friendship.

Have a great day and realize just how fortunate we are.

Sincerely,
Michael Sanders

I too have been wondering about him lately. He is such a great guy; I wish him all the best in what he is going through.

I'm not sure if anyone up in his area knows how he is doing, but if so please let us know.

Jon

My best wishes are with him and his family.

Sorry,
Chad

I really miss his posts. HH is right we should all say a prayer or simply take a moment and send him our good vibrations. He was a great guy and its the least we could do for all the all the time he spent helping us.

I am doing good, seems like I am off to beat the Ripper once more hahaha.
The only grey cloud casting a shadow on me, is that my doc and me have became friends, I use to annoy him big time, never missed a chance at contradicting him and questioning his judgements, to the point that he actually asked the board of direction to have my dossier transfer to an other doc hahaha, but unfortunately for me? One day he asked me why I am on his case the way I am? Well every one knows how much you hate me, if I die on your hands its as close to an homicide as you’ll ever get, better make sure I pull thru hahaha. He never got angered with me ever sins, now this makes me nervous. Hahaha

Good news 75% of the masses is gone, this is excellent and fare better then we expected, getting in shape and loosing 45lbs was the best thing I did before treatment, I feel grate and sexy.

Next; I moved in a small apartment near my old house so I can see my kids as much as possible, I don’t have the internet yet, but will post when I do.
I still keep a few blue heads agamas, I think these are the worlds best pet lizard, they have all of what Larson dragons have but 100 times more colourful and they don’t mutilate each others, unfortunately pet shops wont give me $15ea for month old cbb, isn’t this ridiculous?

Also I got a new yellow head jobiensis, she’s the most gorges monitor iv ever kept, will post a photo as soon as possible.

Thanks for the good tots, I was quit pleased to read them, kind of a birth day present, as today is my 43rd birthday.
Take care of yourselves and those you love, will see you later!

Kind regards

Ps. Sorry guys if I don’t reply to your emails, my illness is the last thing I want to talk about for the time being, hope you understand, thanks.

What up, dude?! I'm glad to hear the good news, that's great!

I'm sure your getting into better physical shaped helped a lot but I also know that the great attitude you had going into this had a huge part, too. You're an inspiration, Steeve.

Ha! Good to see you treat everyone else the same way you do us. Hahahaha!!!

> > > I feel grate and sexy.

How about a pic in your pink, open-back ballerina outfit, like someone else we know. Ha! Ha!

Happy Birthday! (I'm still in awe about that.)

Get well & hurry back!

Mike

Happy Birthday Jobi!

Glad to hear you are doing well!
As you can see, many of us around here really miss you.
And I can't wait to see pics of your new yellow head jobiensis!

Take care,

Sorry guys got to go, wont read here again for a few weeks.
I don’t have a camera yet, but hers a yellow head female just like mine, enjoy! They develop the nice yellow as they grow older, males especially! The throat and body colors are outstanding, way nicer then the normal Sarong-Merauke type, they have a very shy personality, preferring to stand still and flatten to the ground then darting off as the other jobiensis usually do, they also aren’t much attracted to water and unlike other jobiensis witch defecate in water most of the times, my female likes to do it on her basking sites, to bad as cleaning a water bowl is so convenient.

Here a few morphs to compare, yellow highland PNG, regular PNG and islands Batanta and Wiegeo dark headed morphs ( mistakenly documented as melanistic in older literature)
Sorry no photos of me today, you guys will have to take my word for it, I am sexy!!!

Later!

on keeping on. I think your attitude and outlook is GREAT!! MY MOTTO HAS ALWAYS BEEN A SITUATION OF MIND OVER MATTER. IF YOU DON'T MIND IT DON'T MATTER!! I try to just roll on no matter what. Anyway you're in my thoughts and prayers. TC
