I don't remember that story, but it reminds me of another one I saw a while back...on one of those home video type shows, someone had a snake, mouse, and bird all living in the same cage together without any problems! In that case, the owner said he/she had bought the live mouse as food for the snake, but for some reason the snake wouldn't eat it...the mouse didn't bother the snake either so they left them together. I think the bird was already living in the cage with the snake. What I found odd about this story was that the snake was fed live mice, and they continued to feed it live even after that point...there was something about that particular mouse that was different. I never heard anything else about that one either.
