Mating Tangerine with hypo tangerine

hanniball Aug 22, 2003 09:52 AM

What vill happen? both of their parents are super hypos,
but the to that I am going to mate are hypo and the other is only tangerine.

How will the hatchlings look like?

is it possible to get super hypos from them?

or will all of them turn out to be tangerines and maybe hypos?
will some of the hatchlings be normals?

than´ks in advance!

here is a pic of the future mom

I don't think you will get any super hypos and you probably won't get normals either though I won't say either of these is not possible. You will probably get a mix between the two parents, probably most of them will be reduced spotting tangs but it is also likely you will get some regular tangs and maybe some hypos.

It is possible to get super-hypos, offspring can have more or less spotting than either parent. Most likely you will get mainly geckos that look like a cross between both parents, but you will probably get a few that have less spotting and a few that have more than you would expect. Same with tang coloration.
