How do i get the cool side of the cage in the 80's on a vision theres n0o were to put a light or mount one, im trying to get mike's temps perfect while hes getting his panacure treayment, there both taking .5 cc of panacur a day for 5 days then in a month im gunna bring up a fecal. Mike is eating and doing fine but spikke isnt eating so im force feeding him green bean baby fod with carot baby food and squash adn hawian delight desrt along with a lot of vitamins and minerals. and 2 cc of water a day becaus i dont want him to dehydrate with the ppanacur this sound good everyone? Oh yea spike is also getting batryl for his skin infection.

there should be both a florescent light fixture place and a heat bulb place on the vision...unless you didn't get the extra vent for the heat lamp...on mine i use a 150 watt and it gets the temps to high 90's almost 100 on the warm side and mid 80's on the cool side.

Yea u gota 150 but its one of those crappy Day Glo Bulbs the only light si like are the zoo emd ones anyhow i had this one basking thing that advertised it held heat and it did btu wow with a 75 watt lamp there wree parts on it i swear were exactly 211 f it was ridiculos so i put somthing else down for them to bask on. I put a 150 watt in adn it did nothign to the cool side it sayed room temp im thinking maybe getting a cermic heat emitere and moving down my uvb bulb adn putting it i there so it warms the whole cage i dunno any opinions?

Also fruit were did you get those handles or w/e for the glass on your cage im smearing up my glass pretty good on the cage.

P.S. Spike ate a good amount today im so happy i hope there gunna pull through better then any othe rof my anmals its usualy first day after treatment they bite the dust. anyhow thanks

the handles came with my vision...but you can most likely buy at a hardware store. Maybe try using an UTH for the cool side that will bring it up some. Get a big UTH though like a 30-40 or 50 size. I used one at first with my vision bc i had trouble getting the temps correct, so it is totally safe to use. Mayeb you could get a UTH and a retrostat so the temperatures can be maintained. Just an idea.

Also do you have them housed together? just curious it's always interestign when two males get along.

Not now but i normaly do i dont know because of the skin infection and if one gets rid of aparsites befor other i dont want them to recatch so once there both clean im fgunna pu them back and omg do they love eachotther ppl say lizards cant i tellng yea mike sees spike get his meds and he comes tho the glass and scratches when there together they always are eating together sleeping ontop of eachother never any aggresion there so cute and if one comes out te other onme needs to eb with him they actualy ru with eachother when there outside of cage there so cute i love my baby boys.
