Is this Hog normal?

cv Oct 05, 2007 01:35 PM

After a crappy shoot with my female Hog Island yesterday, I decided to try again and get a more realistic color representation of this girl today. It only took about 20 photos to capture her color.

Does anyone else have Hogs with crazy color? I haven't seen adults except in pictures and I'm guessing they were washed out also. Is she normal?

Red on the head and full of fire! Kept my distance with this shot.

I would like to see some exceptional pure Hog's if you got them so post your best...blues, oranges or reds.

Thanks Chris

well, from what I've seen she looks normal...my HIB is still young, I can't wait for her to grow up! Here's some pics of her

This one was taken at night, so she's really light

a couple of nice shots

She looks alot like my female did when young. I have a male a year younger that is powder white that doesn't exhibit as much orange as my female did at that age. He's more pink/white with less speckles. Can't wait to see the change in him.

Thanks..I actually have a female that is very comparable to him that I plan on breeding in the 08/09 season. I can wait to see what kind of babies they throw.

I have to admit that for the different colors that Hog's throw and their prices, it's hard to beat.

I have to agree with you on that one....especially with the cost of all the morphs out there. The hogg is like a morph in it self, to me, just because of the colors it has.
