OT - Movin' on up....

This cage was supposed to be for Jack *and* his future wife, but
at the last minute I decided to just get Jack. (Next year I'll get him a girlfriend.) So now he has a HUGE bachelor pad, and just moved in. I tried to simulate a burrow with a piece of PVC pipe leading into a hide box, and so far he seems to really enjoy it. Likes to hide in there yet peek out to keep watch.
Thanks for looking, hope no one minds my constant off-topic posts.
I wouldn't do it if this forum weren't so much fun...

do you not get Ed?

A rainbow is made up of all colors so the rainbow forum should be made up of all herps?

I for one love all the on and off topic stuff. Even more important than the content of the posts is the tone of the entire forum!!!!

Cool looking bachelor pad ya got there. Is that the tip of his tail just going in? Went in for a quick spruce up before a night on the prowl?

Thanks Dave, I didn't think anyone minded, but just want to make sure.

Yeah, that's his tail sticking out. He seems to like curling
around in the tube, nice and cozy in there I guess.

Thanks!

Yeah, you're right, the pipe doesn't match the rest of the decor!
I hope Martha Stewart is not reading this forum.

You don't know jack!? (Sorry, couldn't resist)

Sorry about that.. normally helps to put the species
name somewhere in the post! He's an Eastern Indigo (Drymarchon corais couperi)

Dave,

It was really strange. I didn't even mention Jack as on option,
I just asked my kids what they wanted to name the snake. The two youngest said, almost simultaneously, "Jack." So I had to
go with it. Don't have any magnets to send you, though.
