I am normally a boa breeder but I really like caramel albino ball pythons.I bought a Malsin het for caramel male a few years ago, made possible hets with unrelated females and bred the male to the different possible hets this year and produced three litters with caramels. Fortunately none of the caramels or possible hets show any kinking. The caramels show a range of color and some have a ghost-like appearance. How much effect does maternal color have on the caramels that are produced.
Here is one that appears very light.

Bill, Those are all beauties!! Not sure about your maternal question, but in my opinion the Malsin line produces some of the best colors in Caramels.

The lines of caramels can produce great color variances. This is a line I hope to work with. I was given this picture by a the breeder, but I think it might be in the RDR collection now. I know that this line is not compatable with any other line of caramels currently being produced. Also, no kinking in this line.
