Last night my husband and I found a little lizard... it is about 2.5-3 inches long. I think it is a yound one, b/c there were a few around that were about 1 inch long. This lizard changes color to match its environment. Now it is a light brown color, it is in our tank which has a log and some lizard bedding. We live in an apartment, in a well populated area; the grounds are well lanscaped, grass bushes trees, etc... the lizard was out by one of the bushes on the side of the apartment. (we tend to see them crawl under the siding) They are out from about 8:30pm into the night (we cought this one at 12am). The lizard has lepord like spots (very light brown in color) and little bumps along his body (like goosebumps). Its eyes are large and close together set more towards the top of his head than the sides. Its nose is slightly pointed but not too long.
As you can see i dont know a thing about lizards. We have a tiger salamander, which i've had for about 2-3 years. So i have no experience beyond that. ( And thats not a reptile, haha)
Any help would be greatly appreciated)
