What kind?

Im a new snake owner and ive seen a boa thats brownish,sandy/carmel color and a dark brown mixed.Anyone have a picture of one and know what kind of boa this is? I really like the look of them and want to know what kind so i can look into buying one.

that you just described 75% of all boas out there. My suggestion would be to surf through the classifieds till you see what your looking for or maybe do a search for a T albino, or Caramel Boa in the boa forum. Hope this helps. Chris

or hypomelanistic...you may also see them referred to as salmon boas or orangetail boas, depending on the breeding history/line of the particular animal.

Hypo is a genetic color mutation that results in reduced black pigment, giving the boa a reddish/copper color....
