Strange Pastels

ChrisJonesUK Oct 06, 2007 03:21 PM

In 2005 i bred a pastel to an aberrant female and produced a pastel male that looked different to all the other pastels i produced in the past, i grew him up and bred him to a few females this year and he has produced babies that have all his characteristics. i will be breeding him back to mum next year to see if there is a super.Comments wanted

I would let him finish eating, and try to get some better pics. It is kind of hard to tell much from those pics, but I would say he looks promising.

Looks like you got your self into a nice project.. That snake has some nice YB characteristics but I see a hint of some thing else that would not make it an Ivory producer but some thing possibly better. Good Luck

very nice looking snake, whatever he turns out to be. He reminds me of a mojave..with the big roundish single eyed 'alien faces'. But definitely defer to what the experts say, as I don't consider myself an expert (barely an informed novice is closer to what I would call myself LOL) on determining ball python morphs, especially the subtler ones (ie yellow belly, mojave, fireball, granites, ghosts, etc)

Pictures of Mom and siblings would be great to see as well.
