Joel,
The snake pictured is a Los Mimbres, Durando Mex locality! The animal pictured displays the spontaneosly exhibited hypo-melanistic trait. Your possible het for hypo-melanism animals are this line depending on where you got them. I can't keep track of all the hets or hypos that leave my facility but chances are they are this locality.
The line is quite variable ranging from almost pure black and white, black and white with pinkish heads and bright yellow orange tails, some with russet saddles others with blk saddles, there are even some really cool looking bananna yellow/green animals.
The gene for hypo-melanism carries with it a variable pattern aberancy gene displayed in a range of almost normal to speckled, to nearly patternless looks.
I am waiting for some one with more time and space than I to isolate the patternless look..........maybe you!
Enjoy!
Ginter
thanks john
