I have a couple of plastic cages by showcasecages. I love them, but they have way too many hiding spots for my snakes. What is the name of that filler that dries up into a thick plastic? What have you used before? Thanks for any tips.

I believe you are thinking of the expanding foam insulation spray, like that is used around windows after install, etc. Most common brand is Great Stuff. Just within the Great Stuff product line I think there are three degrees of expansion. Not knowing what showcasecages are like, you'll need to figure out exactly what amount of expansion you'll need. Since you mentioned hiding places for the snakes, I think you'll need the stuff that expands the most. But check to make sure.
