how long to wait

mezmerize Oct 07, 2007 05:01 PM

my ball python was fed on thursday a rat that was larger than her usual size. She is still looking a little fat and i was just wondering if it is safe to handle her yet. most car guides say wait about 2 days (its been 3) but she;'s still lookin just a little bit wide

I'm not sure if there's a hard and fast rule, but I normally wait until I can't feel the food in them anymore before I feel comfortable handling my snakes.
