No Longer a Problem Feeder...

HandInTheFlame Oct 08, 2007 01:20 PM

I got a pair of normals from a rescue a couple months ago. Both of them were on live when I got them, so I was working on switching them over to F/T... The female switched really easily, within the first couple feedings. The male, on the other hand, was being pretty difficult. He balked at everything, and when I gave in and put a live mouse in with him, he showed no interest (I watched it crawl all over him for a good half hour).

Last night, however... He pounded down one good-sized F/T rat and then was still lookin' pretty hungry, so I threw in another and he snatched the second up immediately.
I could not be happier.
Hopefully this trend continues... He's about 4.5 feet and ~1400 grams, so I feel he could stand to put on some weight..
