Both of the western ribbons I rescued from my cat are doing well! (i originally thought they were Texas Garters, but they don't have the black stripes of their "lips" like the Texas Garters do. They are both eating (at first the baby was refusing food) and are getting used to me. The adult one's tail was broken from my cat's attack when I found him, and it died and fell off. Do tails ever go back? (I know some lizards' tails will grow back plain black, but I don't know about snakes.)
