Hello I just got my first Veiled over the weekend and he showed no interest in feeding the first day which wasn't supprising. But now I can get him to eat kingworms from feeding tongs but he shows no intrest in the crickets I put in his cage tongs or free range . so what should I do? I know that kingworms aren't the best food and that variety is best.

It could be that kingworms are a really new treat and he's not interested in food he's eaten a lot of in the past. If you gutload the worms well they aren't the worst feeders you could give him. There are some better commercial gutloads for worms now that would help. Check with cricketfood.com. You can also partially confine the crix and the worms in a plastic box that you set in the cage so he can climb down to the rim and hunt them from there. It will exercise his tongue and give him a chance to be more active, but the feeders won't escape into the cage.
