My son, Conner, is 7 and loves the snakes. He has been trying to convince me to get him a pied. I would love to buy him one, but I think I am going to start him with something a little less pricey.

He goes in there and changes all the water bowls he can reach. I don't let him feed yet and am always there as he takes care of the animals. I am easing him into the hobby. I have to get him a snake for his room pretty soon so I can have some peace and quiet. Although I am not working with pastels, I thought about getting him a male to learn with. At least it wouldn't be a normal (not that there is anything wrong with that), but he likes all the colors. He is also quite the aquarium hobbyist. He has a Biocube Nano, and that is thriving. He has done a great job with all liviing animals.

When I was young, I build custom aquariums and maintain them. I have 3 200 gallon aquariums (1 reef / 1 FOWLR / 1 Brackish Mangrove) then 1 180 gallon Fresh Plant tank with Discus. 2 dogs, and a Sun Conure, Then all my Herps too. LoL, Busy house

I need an African Grey. I am going to trade into one with snakes with the local pet shop.

I had a Congo Grey but sold it off, it didnt take to me very well and I got it from my Ex after we fell apart. She didnt want it so I kept it, but it just never came around to me.

I have a source for young hand fed birds. I know they are usually one person birds, but I think if socialized at a young age they can be tolerant of other people. I just started a new home business and when I get my own storefront, I want one for my office.

I've posted these pics in other forums but always like to show her off!
My granddaughter at 6 months reading her favorite book and then at 15 months at Easter. We got lucky and found the snake Easter basket. And of course, it wouldn't eat so she is trying to assist feed!!
