A little stroll down memory lane

Back in 2005 I had lots of really great looking BRB's and ended up holding back three males. Thought it might be interesting to show the chronology of each.

(lighting was not the same for every pic so some show up as different color than others....oh well)

I only have two snakes currently and my girlfriend already thinks I have too many and doesn't want me to get any more. We'll see if I can't sway her when I get a bigger place with more room for more snakes

1) Outa sight outa mind. If you put them where she's not forced to see them all the time it could help.

2) DUH, always keep them clean so nobody can smell them!!!!

or three

Find out what she likes.....colors, size, mellow etc and get her something that fits that.....maybe something pretty like a poison dart frog? Take her to a show so she can see lots of stuff AND PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT SHE LIKES!!!! Ease her into being involved with herps, even if she only has one herp and won't mess with yours, when she is happy, then you can be happy if you get my drift!!!!

married, I hope it is to someone just as nice and considerate as you lol

tim21087 Oct 09, 2007 09:51 PM

Well I always keep the cages clean so they never smell. Can't really keep them out of sight cause right now they have to live in my bedroom with me. Small apartment three other roommates = No room for snakes outside of my room Haha yeah last year for Christmas I bought her an albino motley corn, that she loved but she gave it to her brother as a moving present when he moved to Texas, I guess she didn't love it as much as I thought... Oh well what it comes down to is it's my money and I can do what I want with it so when I get the room I'm sure I'll get more snakes

I think we need to form a support group! Maybe H.I.S.S (Herpers In-need-of Spousal Support)??

Let's see some pics of that JCP!

The group sounds like a great idea to me, I love the title As for the pictures I have to wait for my girlfriend to let me use her camera, darn her forgetfulness.

What!? You mean we goofballs on the rainbow boa forum are not high on her priority list?!

I guess we need to start a "Camera for Tim" fund as well now.

Maybe you should tell her if she brings you the camera you'd spend *less* time on the forum, since you wouldn't have to respond to the plethora of posts asking you to show some pics.

Ok, maybe it's a stretch...

The nice thing is over time the snakes improve and even though pics at different times and different lighting will show different colors, you can see the overall color trends.

take him from you Dave but that would go against me getting a snake that isn't even a baby and getting an adult, ok I'm cool with that

Way cool! I love those timelines, it's neat to see how they change as they grow. Are you planning on breeding those two to some lucky ladies this coming season?

I got so wrapped up in Pheonix and Diablo.... how could I have forgotten little Hook? Looks like you're gonna need to make some more counseling appointments.

I'm glad they ALL get a chance to show their stuff soon!
