freaked me out!

so i just went over to check on my crested, and she was on the wall side of the cage with her mouth wide open, she just sat there for a while, and i was freaking out? after i opened the cage, he moved. is she ok? she has been moving around great, and very active, this just scared me. anyone else ever see this?

Is it possible that your gecko could have been venting? Since reptiles can't sweat, geckos and lizards in particular will sit with their mouths open if they are too hot, to try and release some of the heat that way. Are temps okay?

Awesome, just wondering. I've yet to see any of my geckos do that, so I couldn't be sure.

did you get a look at her calcium sacs while her mouth was open?
