& this is a?

Note: it is kinda difficult to pop with 1 hand & take a pic with the other hand. Sorry about pic quality.

Voila!

It looks like George sneezed....yucks!

That is not a way to pop, the hemipenes or scent glands are in the tail after the cloaca not before. Try my technique.

Survey says your going to break its spine if you bend it any further.

J35J Oct 10, 2007 03:58 PM

survey says...you obviously have never seen someone pop a snake before!

coldblooded Oct 10, 2007 04:35 PM

If your talking to me i have popped thousands of snakes myself and you dont have to bend it backwards much at all.

Heat Oct 10, 2007 04:42 PM

I watched the video that someone was kind enought to post, & I thought that his backwards tail action was going to lead to a break. On another note, his male looked just like the male I posted plugs of.

I guess it always looks worse when you are the person not doing it.

& trying to hold the "pose" with 1 hand while removing the other hand to take pic is tricky. I don't pretend to be an expert, just honest & open to criticism.

LOL, sorry about that. No I wasn't talking to you. I was talking to the original poster.

robyn@ProExotics Oct 10, 2007 04:02 PM

survey says its an unpopped snake. i realize that popping and taking the pic at the same time is difficult, but aren't you "rolling" from the wrong end? all that pic shows is squished innards barely protruding from the vent...

so right! each pic I tried to take from the other view, the snake moved & the pics didn't turn out at all. I'll let them get over this intrusion & try again in a week.

This popping gig keeps making me think of the movie Dr. Doolittle w/ Eddie Murphy, where the guinea pig was in the toilet & screamed, "I've been violated!!" lmao!
