I purchased a 5 yr old corn snake a couple weeks ago at a show. It's my first snake. When I came in on Tuesday (I'm a school teacher) I noticed the snake's tail from about his anus was discolored at the end. I left him be, but today I picked him up, and that part of the tail seems to be limp. I also noticed that there appears to be a bulge right before the anus. His water dish was empty when I came in, so I'm concerned it might be because of dehydration, or possibly an impaction, or perhaps even a break? If anyone can help, please post. Thanks
