Two Early Pairings

TopNotchBoas Oct 10, 2007 11:20 PM

I decided to get an early start on a couple breeding trials this year.

This first pairing is my 2003 Super Salmon that produced a litter of 30 with my 01 EBV Red Group last season. This year he is with a really nice normal I got from Gray Rushin named "Ivana". She has an extremely beautiful light undertone and a tail that rivals BCC's. I'm curious to see who produces the better neos with the same father. The male is my best breeder. He always courts immediately upon introduction.

This next pairing is my most anticipated pairing of the year. The male is a 2005 Motley 100% Het Albino Possible Het Stripe. The female is a 2004 coral sunglow that is in shed. I can't wait to see what these guys produce. Fingers crossed tightly!

My girlfriend felt the need to decorate the cages with their names. Adds a little color to the room.

Good luck with your pairings. Those should make some outstanding babies!!

We have Ivanas brother, Mel, and he has helped produce some great looking babies so that pairing should be extremely nice!! I seriously might need to get one or two.

Here are a couple of Mels offspring ...

These pictures are older baby pics... you should see these guys now!

I didnt know you had produced from that bloodline. It's fairly apparent that it produces some consitant all around goodness! Their tail splotches look killer. Thats one of my favorite characteristics about Ivana. I'll be real interested to see how that translates into hypo form. Thanks for sharing those pics.

Best of Luck on those two pairings. The sunglow motleys should be off the charts! Really looking forward to seeing those offspring.

Keep us posted,
